It comes with a variety of text contributions by six authors:
Daniel Sherer reflects on Stefan Knauf’s work of recent years; Mariana Lemos examines the exhibition at Haus Coburg and explores the notion of ecological grief; Andrea Volken considers the political dimensions of mourning from an ecofeminist standpoint; Matilda Felix questions the role of museums and central storage facilities as institutions of cultural preservation; Matthias Krüger traces the rise of artist colonies in the late 19th century; and Eckhard Fuhr recounts the history of the Agnus Dei, the Lamb of God.
